First Boat Ride of the Year...

This past week brought unseasonably warm weather here! So when Friday rolled around everyone felt TGIF and the 80 degree weather was calling our name! And so was the water...

Everyone got together, the boaters brought their boats and we headed out for a little booze cruise! It was gorgeous and SO fun! (yes the Whaler got some air!)

We decide to turn our cruise into a dinner cruise- we boated out to the Boathouse restaurant on the peninsula! What fun!

It was a gorgeous night! The view heading back into town on the boat..the stars were also out- beautiful!

What an amazing night with all our friends! We are SO thankful to live in such a beautiful place, to have amazing friends and to have so much fun~ life is good!

Winters Last Hurrah...

This past weekend we went North with a bunch of friends to Boyne Highlands. It was supposed to be our last skiing of the season. But it turned into our last winter hurrah!

It ended up being a gorgeous weekend with sunny sky's and no skiing because there was hardly any snow left on the slopes..Spring has sprung here!

Oh well, bye bye winter! We are ready for warmer weather!

Surprise #2: A Visit from Vicki & Don!!!

This weekend..Brian's birthday weekend I had another surprise up my sleeve...Vicki & Don's SURPRISE visit!!

Needless to say Brian was surprised!!! And it was GREAT!!

We were all so excited to spend the weekend together!

We met Vicki and Don at Red Ginger for a YUMMY dinner!!

Then we headed to the Top of the Park for some after dinner drinks and to listen to the piano player...

The next day we started our day at Patisserie Ami..our VERY yummy & beautiful breakfast!

Then we headed over to Brian's office to see his remodeling progress..it is awesome!

Then for a little day trip to Bay Harbor & Charlevoix...

It was a gorgeous sunny day!!

And the snow and ice on the lake was melting..spring is here??

and the perfect after 30th bday drink...Bloody Mary's at Knot Just a Bar...

Then we headed into Charlevoix to do a little shopping..The Taffy Barrel!

To quench our sweet tooth!

Then to the Cherry Republic to stock up on cherry products!
