McClatchey Family Reunion 2009...

This past weekend the McClatchey family came from far and near for a reunion...

We headed to Grosse Ile, a little island in the Detroit River where they all grew up...the bridge from the mainland...

All the kids & grand kids of my grandma, Helen McClatchey (who will be 94 this year!)..sans 13 missing family members!

It was a GREAT weekend! Making us really excited for Reed's wedding in October~too see everyone again!!!

Cherry Fest...

Cherry Fest has come and gone for 2009 but there were fun times had!

Lots of boating, fun, eating & drinking...

And at the end of it all..we watched the fireworks!!

4th of July 2009...

This year for 4th of July our friends Jeff & Kate invited us out for boating, grilling out and a bonfire....
The weather was a beautiful! Brian and the guys....

Then at 3pm the lake had a 4th of July Parade...

Polka Fest 2009

The weekend of 4th of July started with a bang! We headed out to Polka Fest for the first time...and it was SO fun!

They have a HUGE beer garden set up under a circus size tent...

Then we started dancing...our attempt at Polka....

It was hilarious!

And the most fun dancing I have had in awhile...
