Cider Saturday...

Saturday a group of us hopped in the car and headed to Tandem Cider for a little tasting!

It is a cute little cidery on Leelanau peninsula...

It was a great little impromptu Saturday! Tandem Cider, Fischer's Happy Hour Tavern for lunch, a whole in the wall winery on the way back into town!

The fun didn't end there..a little bar hopping & bowling later that night!

A GREAT Thanksgiving weekend break..relaxing, eating, drinking, friends and family!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Turkey day is fast approaching and I can hardly wait! It is one of my favorite holidays- maybe the favorite! It is mostly because everyone comes together, friends & family, for a day to be thankful, share laughs, love and a great meal!

There is so much to be thankful for this year: a wonderful husband, loving family near & far, great friends, careers that we love & challenge us...the list goes on and on!

We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hollywood Comes to TC...

Currently the feature film "A Year in Mooring" is filming in TC! When we arrived back in town after our girls weekend- we headed straight downtown to try and catch a glimpse of Josh Lucas (the dreamboat from Sweet Home Alabama) & a glimpse we did!!

It was really cool to watch a film being shot! One of my girlfriends was even asked to be a stand in for the lead!

The film is shooting here til mid December so there will be lots of shots from TC! Can't wait to watch the movie when it comes out & see how it turned out...

and ps..Josh Lucas is pretty cute too :)

Beer Widows Weekend....

The the boys are away the girls will play! Isn't that how the saying goes? :)

This past weekend as our husbands went off for boys weekend- we all decided to do the same!

We headed downstate for a shopping extravaganza and it was SO fun!!

Both the guys & the girls had so much fun!

We are both so blessed to have amazing friends!

Pyramid Point....

Yesterday was GORGEOUS here!! 65 and sunny...so Brian & I decided to head out to one of our favorite spots...as Brian says, "It is in the top 5". Our friends Ben & Jenna came too!!

Then came the hike back up! It was a good workout to say the least! BUT..we rewarded ourselves with dinner & drinks at one of our other favorite spots..Art's Tavern.

Then we all headed back to Washington St. for our night cap: a bottle of wine & hot-tub!

It was a GREAT day!!!
