Mom's 60th Birthday!!!

Saturday night we continued the birthday party celebrations! By ringing in my Mom's 60th year!!

Brian & Dusty's Surpise 30th Birthday Party...

Macare & I have been planning our "Operation Dusty & Brian's 30th Birthday Surprise"...and we pulled it off without a hitch! The moment of the surprise above...

What a great surprise! And to be able to celebrate with lots of friends and family too!!!

Macare & I had "man food" catered...pizza bread, wings, sliders...and chocolate fondue! yum!!

Then we all watched a video that Macare & I compiled for the guys! It was awesome!!

While the guys were busy distracting the guys at happy hour, the girls came over to help decorate the house!

Mom & Dad McClatchey helped Brian & Dusty ring in their 30th year!

And no 30th Birthday would be complete without a spartan helmet cake, for Brian the MSU Spartan fan!!

And the same would be true for Dusty...the OSU fan!!!

Happy 30th Birthday Brian & Dusty! We wish you all the best in this next decade of your life!! The best is yet to come!!!

Visiting the Polasek's...

This past weekend Brian and I went downstate to visit the Polasek's! It is always so fun to see our sister, brother-in-law, and kiddos!

We spent part of our visit outside playing in the snow! Sledding, trying to build a snowman (the snow wasn't cooperating) and just having fun!

Brian and I also got a chance to drop Emily off at dance..she is doing so well!

Ski Weekend...

This weekend Brian & I celebrated Valentine's Day a little early since he will be out of town next weekend by heading out to the Homestead!

We relaxed, did some skiing, went to one of our favorite restaurants Funistrada and just had fun!

California Dreaming...

This past week Brian and I were in California! He had a conference there and I tagged along..what fun!

We had great weather, sun & fun!

We went running along the beach, hiking in Malibu & exploring Santa Monica & LA...

It was a great opportunity for me to try out my new camera, so I took a lot of pictures..enjoy!

And the amazing tree in the courtyard - a fig tree...they are all around Santa Monica!

One day we rented a car and drove along the Pacific Coast Highway which was gorgeous!

Santa Monica had the most amazing sunsets - one thing we miss during N. Michigan winters!

One night we headed to the Getty Center in the hills of LA for a party..the view & lights of LA!

It was a great little vacation! A good break from the winter blahs!
