Brian and I visited Morton Arboretum during our stay in Chicago. It is a beautiful "park" that was donated and started by the Morton family (the salt).
It made us feel like we were back at home rather than suburban Chicago. There were acres and acres of lush forest, meadows, lakes, flowers and art (they had a cool living art exhibit going on). One of the best parts was the children's garden..which we will have to go back to when Isabelle is a little older to enjoy it.
It was a great way to spend a warm & sunny morning.
